The Olympic Games

Dear Thomas Bach and members of the International Olympic Committee.

I am Matilde Drumont and I'm from Belgium. I heard some commotion about the Olympic Games in Russia in 2014, and today I saw an article written by Stephen Fry about the Olympic Games. He sended an open letter to David Cameron and he asked him to do something for the LGBT people. In Russia all the LGBT people are discriminated  because of their sexual orientation. That doesn't match with the rules of the IOC. One of the rules of the IOC is that no one gets discriminated during the Olympic Games.

I think that the IOC should do something about the situation in Russia. The Olympic Games is the biggest event in the world, so it is really important that they support gay rights. I think that you should put some more pressure at the politicians of Russia, so they will make some laws that support LGBT people.I hope you will do something about the situation in Russia.
